The hardcover graphic novel put out by Archaia Studios Press is a bold and twisted angle on a popular American legend.  The inking and color palette are nothing short of phenomenal.  I must say that I am a sucker for anything with werewolves in it, but this storyline outright blew me away. Intrigue, dissent, betrayal, and of course patriotism keep the reader glued to every page.  Paul Revere is the man with a plan, and it’s him against the world.  The British are at his door, there is a plaque of werewolves terrorizing the countryside, and the Revere family is in mortal danger.

If I had to sum up this collection in one word it would be “Intense”.  Every single panel looks like it took a week to complete and you find yourself hanging off of every line.  There are several pages of incredible sketches and “what-if?” artwork to assuage the reader’s hunger for more.  Upon coming to the last page I found myself saddened, until at the bottom I read: Volume II-Revere Salem’s Lot.  I mean Come on!
