My Editor and I had the distinct pleasure of seeing this film at the 2008 Fallbrook Film Festival as well as meeting the amazing cast/filmmakers during an interview session.  Adam Pitman, Adam Stilwell and David Blair of BadFritter Films as well as the rest of the cast were a wonderfully laid back group with a nice withersin-y sense of humor.  We thoroughly enjoyed talking with them and look forward to seeing their movie on the big screen one day... now onto my review.

Paper Dolls grabs you and does not let go.

It takes a spin on the American Bigfoot Legend, well, numerous spins.  The young cast and crew are genius in their portrayal of the story and have an amazing talent to pull you in and really believe in their characters.

A nutty professor, a possibly psycho-kid, an imagined love affair, a nice trip out to the country, frat parties, escaped slaves, local lore, murder, savagery and the frightening truth are brought forth in a way that keeps the viewer guessing-  and then second guessing- and shocked until the glorious, bitter end.

BRILLIANT.

It's dark, it's different and it's pleasantly sinister.  Withersin gives Paper Dolls 4.5 out of 5 ravens!
