Neat!
Bio-engineering and cybernetics,
dubbed Mega-tech, have made normal people into superheroes and super-villains.
The villains force the world to outlaw all Mega-tech. Most are hunted down and
imprisoned but a contingent of evildoers has joined together. Now a super curvy
woman appears out of no where and begins to kill off the bad-guys one at a
time. She moves like a ghost and can take most forms. With her sidekick,
Harper, Madame Mirage is out after only one thing, revenge.
The story is mildly interesting;
nothing terribly new and at least there was some sort of logical explanation
for the super-powered hordes. I think the secret as to why Mirage wanted her
revenge was given away too early in the story and
would have been better suited near the end keeping the mystery alive a little
while longer. Rocafort's artwork is beyond amazing. I
found myself going back over the frames time and time again. I think the story
is pretty well wrapped up and contained in this one volume. There are other
things that can be done in this world but it would be quickly straining to
bring Mirage in as a main character too often. I can't wait to find some more
stuff by Rocafort.
