At least you won’t be
alone in the zombie apocalypse.
Most people have been
infected. So far there are only four survivors: Francis, Louis, Bill, and Zoey. They’re completely surrounded and have miles to go to
find help. There’s no cure, no hope, and no rescue plan. There are only four
people and a lot of bullets. If the zombies aren’t bad enough, there are the special
infected such as witches that just want to be left alone, tanks with super
strength and aggression, boomers who vomit their disease on you blinding you,
smokers that give you a deadly tongue-lashing, and hunters that can leap and
knock you down.
If we learn anything
from George A. Romero movies it is that humanity will always cause its own
downfall. People’s refusal to work together is always what allows the horror to
overtake mankind. In this game you have to work together or die together. The
zombies are fast paced (think Zack Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead) and so is the
action. The graphics place you right into a zombie movie. With online play, you
can team up with friends or strangers to work together or you can become the
special infected and try to take down the survivors. The fact that an AI
‘directs’ the game giving you multiple replay options is also a great benefit.
Love it personally, if
you want to team up and kill some zombies buy it: 5 out of 5
