Alien zombies versus an alien/human hybrid and…
whatever Jackie is.
Jackie brought Timmy and Pitt back to his place to hole up
against the infected and find out what he can do about it. Pitt and Jackie find
that every minute they stay together they like each other a little bit less.
The three go out to find the infected and see if they can stop it. The feds are
following and end up being food for the bad guys. This presents a problem for
our heroes, and Jackie. The feds behind them are zombies blocking their retreat
from the other infected.
You have to love a good, or even bad, zombie yarn. The thing
with zombies and comics recently seems to be pitting super beings against them
to see what happens. The combination of Keown and D’Armata was a brilliant choice (granted, D’Armata’s coloring ability is fantastic in any and every
thing that he has worked on). Overall a great issue that definitely urges you
to find the rest of the story arch.
