An impressive new level of suck.

Kyle Walsh (Chaney Kley plays older/present day Kyle and Joshua Anderson plays younger Kyle) loses his last baby tooth. As he is drifting off to sleep that night he wakes to have the tooth fairy standing over him. Since he saw the tooth fairy she has to kill him, which seems like a reasonable course of action. However, the Tooth Fairy is afraid of the lights so he just avoids the dark. Twelve years later, Kyle's childhood friend Caitlin (Emma Caulfield) has a little brother that is suffering the same fate as Kyle once did. Kyle comes back to the town of Darkness Falls in an attempt to stop the Tooth Fairy from getting Caitlin's brother, but he may get caught instead.

Emma Caulfield is well known for her reoccurring roll on Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series. Buffy had many good attributes that made it a great show, but one thing in particular that made it stand out was using humor to break up tension thus creating more tension. That would have been a great concept to inject into this crappy movie. We are led along by characters that don't seem too invested in anything that happens around them. The basic plot is a pretty cool idea but the execution is terrible. The big reveal at the end was lame. The original design for the Tooth Fairy would have been better than the lame zombie knock-off thing we're left with.

At least they're not making tons of sequels:
