Its a thing, from the swamp! Ahhh its copyright infringement monster!

Bog, a swap monster of the everglades, finds an ancestor of its queen, Candice. Jackie and his team are interested in the area and want to hire Candice to take them out the temple. She thinks that they are oil men. Meanwhile, evil oil men are in the area and follow Candice out to kill her. Jackie saves her using The Darkness but the Bog thinks that he is a threat and a fight between the two ensues.

All joking aside, I believe that Bog is a nod and tribute to Bernie Wrightson. A tight plot, nothing really overreaching, enough intrigue to keep us reading, overall the story is pretty good. The same goes with the artwork. While there is nothing here that makes me go back to it over and over there is nothing that made me shake my head.

A good start to an interesting story arch:  4 out of 5
