The swimsuit edition!

Michael Paris still needs a way to come up with money to pay the taxes on the cemetery. Following Glump's idea he decides to make a swimsuit issue. With beach jokes bouncing all around, Paris and Abbey try to share their feelings only to be interrupted by Roxanne Allen. Glump's issue is filled full of not quite subliminal messages that again tanks the future for the cemetery, but isn't the only reason why they’re not selling any copies. With a little snooping, Abbey finds out a few things about Roxanne. Roxanne shows her true colors, and identity, and a catfight breaks out among the super-powered.

I'm all for swimsuit issues, although I prefer my women human and alive. Moore has created a funny little world of quirky characters. Using the abnormal to go over everyday problems is also a nice touch. The fight at the end was well done and pretty cool. Some of the jokes were a bit strained, but there are only so many references in the horror genre that one can play around with.

Good for a few laughs and lots of pictures of curvy monsters: 4.5 out of 5
