articles of Weekly World News over the last couple of decades. From
Elvis’s retirement to the reason why old people smell, this book is chock full
of ‘truths’ you won’t find anywhere else. There is also a centerfold of the
first bigfoot prostitute, hubba-hubba.
I’ve always liked Weekly
World News, partly because I’m not quite right in the head, but more just
for the fun that radiates out of each page. I love how they are still using the
same photo altering techniques that they have used for almost thirty years. And
for some reason this newspaper has always struck me as being more truthful than
the real newspapers/networks that are twisting and sensationalizing the news until
they get the advertisers they want.
A funny read that’s
worth it.
