Withersin’s Damned Interview with:
Robert Mortillaro (aka
Robbie)(aka Rob-O)(aka booger)
Well I’m certainly no writer but, I have done a few book covers in
the past. Aside from that I build stringed instruments and custom car parts for
Saturns and early BMWs.
List website:
My website is not finished yet but most of my work and things I
sell can be found on my blog: http://360.yahoo.com/mortillarocustoms

My contact info is mortillarocustoms@yahoo.com
In your own words, define
Withersin.
Withersin is a psycho trip through things you always and never
think about, kind of bringing the world and life into perspective in the form
of a sippy cup (more complex then an average cup but
easier and more fun to use).
If you were a sideshow act,
what would you be?
I’m totally the stunt man with the gimpy leg and a bad hair cut.
What is your greatest
non-literary influence?
Well I’m highly influenced by an Italian engraver from the early
1900’s that worked at the Vega banjo company making banjos in the 26000 serial
number range. No one seems to know his name, But he is regarded as one of the
best ever Douglas Unger aside.
Describe your most
irrational fear.
That all of life as we or I know it is a total figment of
my complex imagination. From a blade of grass to the helmholtz phenomenon of air resonance in a cavity.
Then one day I will wake up and all those great ideas will be lost forever.
How about your
most guilty pleasure?
If I feel guilty after I do something I find it hard to have
pleasure in it.
Name the most disturbing
nursery rhyme/fairy tale you can recall.
The boy who cried wolf, I mean he gets eaten, by a wolf.
Do you eat meat?
I eat meat and a lot of it. That live stock is polluting our
planet and I feel it is my duty to eat as much as I can to save the earth.
What were the skies like
when you were young?
It all blended to gray over time, now I see the sky and it is the most
beautiful sky I have seen.
Name your favorite garden
tool.
I hate the garden but I like hoes (wow that was bad even for me)
Name your least favorite
color, first job and worst job.
I hate the color green so I painted my car that color
My first job was at a bike shop
The worst job I ever had was a bus boy at a burger joint
Favorite: Author,
Movie, Music Group, Song, and Quote.
Scott Adams shows me a side of the world that I have never known
and hope I never do. It scares me when I see parts of his cartoons creep into
my life.
My favorite movie is Bullett, it has some of the greatest cinematography I have seen.
Plus a kick ass car chase.
My favorite music group is Little Feat
My favorite song is School days by Stanley Clarke.
Favorite Quote is “you are what you is, you is what you am, a cow
don’t make ham” Frank Zappa
If you were a loaf of
bread what kind would you be?
I would totally be Pumpernickel bread
Weirdest news you have read
in your local newspaper:
I try not to read the papers. To much sadness and propaganda
Why horror?
Horror opens up an aspect that you rarely see in everyday life.
Here's a photo. (seen on Interview main
page)
“INEDIBLE NOT INTENDED FOR HUMAN FOOD”
You have 112 words. Go.
I have driven every kind of rig that has ever been made and I
always take the back roads so I don't get wade. Give me weed whites and wine
and I'll have a time. I never ask what it is I'm hauling, but no matter
what you put on the back of a truck, Kenny Rodgers is still going to
try and eat it. I mean come on Kenny if they went through the trouble of
marking it you just shouldn't be eating it.
