SUBMISSIONS FOR WITHERSIN

withersin@hotmail.com

Thank you for your interest in Withersin. We e-publish various mediums in science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Our first online edition is scheduled for October 31st, 2011 with the first installment of The Moons of Pluto: Charon.

We are currently accepting fiction, non-fiction, reviews, and artwork. During 2012-2013 we will be accepting digital film shorts and graphic art stories. It’s ridiculous to have to put in this type of disclaimer, but some folks are determined to pollute our minds with unnecessary gratuitous sex and extreme gore and violence. We don’t read stories that focus on the act of child sexual degradation. We publish professional and provocative material that challenges our minds and scares the be-jesus out of us. We do not publish or read material that deviates into perverse, criminal activity. Damn straight.

Please send innovative ideas. We love razor wire fiction. We enjoy experimental fiction. We get gooey eyed over a well crafted, blood curdling plot line. Science fiction that pushes our buttons and considers new paradigms (and aliens!) will be well received. Don’t send stories about unicorns and fairy princes. Or bimbos who fall for vampires. In fact, unless we specifically call for vampire stories, we don’t want ‘em. Challenge yourself. Stay away from clichéd plot lines. And don’t send stories belittling our military. We are proud of our servicemen and women. Write well, write often, and write for the love of it!

Upon submission to Withersin, you are agreeing that the manuscript is your own original work. Withersin purchases world-wide exclusive rights, to print, distribute, and sell published works.

Please refer to Format Guidelines for appropriate submissions standards and Submission Clarifications and Rights for contractual information and payment. They conclude this section. Format Guidleines for Artwork and Novellas are included in their description.
